Translational Science Ground Zero
Researchers funded by NIH grants may recognize the phrase: “Completion of this research will lead to new therapeutic targets and strategies.” The University of Illinois at Chicago receives over $100 million in NIH funding per year with a significant number of these grants based on target- or drug- discovery. The problem is that researchers are not making drugs.

The Value We Add
Between identifying promising IP and making it investment grade there is much work to be done. Some of this is of the checkbox kind, but a significant portion calls for advanced expertise in a wide range of domains – scientific, intellectual property, product development, regulatory and commercial. While our core team members bring a diverse range of expertise to the table we supplement this when necessary by bringing in external experts.
